PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT - SALES SPECIALIST
Queensland Locations| $80000 - $140000 per annum, $120,000 package + up
Our client is an iconic ASX100 company and market leader in the field of Waste and Resource Recovery, and today they are seeking to appoint a talented Territory Manager (TM). You will be responsible for gaining new customers and revenue, in addition to retaining and growing a profitable portfolio of existing customers across your allocated region. The TM is accountable for best-in-class account management, pipeline & contract maintenance & meeting Budgets, Targets and KPI’s as set by the business.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Demonstrated sales skills with a proven record of driving business growth – ideally experience in a B2B environment.
Meeting personal sales revenue Budgets, Targets and (KPI) targets through price and volume
Proactively managing customer and prospect relationships to gain, retain and grow our client’s revenue and market share.
Remaining aligned to their customer service and team charter, along with their values-based company culture
Following up and converting of warm inbound enquiries
The identification and acquisition of new customers, maintaining the opportunity pipeline of new prospects and
Facilitating customer re-signs, leading these negotiations in accordance with agreed targets and pricing criteria.
Ensuring your portfolio of customers is secure under contract/service agreements as per set targets.
The preparation and submission of tenders and quotes
The proactive development of strategic relationships
Conducting a minimum number of “face to face” sales call’s each week
Providing written reports on sales activity and other relevant information each week to a timeline
Taking ownership of sales systems including utilisation of CRM, SalesForce, and ensuring all customer contracts are stored in their database.
Ensuring compliance to trading terms i.e., discount authorisations, rates offered in market.
Whilst bringing to market our clients Solid Waste Services business unit, there is the opportunity to cross sell and upsell their other services, to maximise on the revenue opportunities available.
What you will bring to the role
Ideally experience working in a service driven B2B sales role, or the genuine desire to take your proven sales skills and step up into a B2B corporate infield sales opportunity.
Experience in converting prospects/ quotes to profitable new business.
Excellent customer service/ stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated confident negotiations and presentation skills.
Ideally experience in commercial/industrial B2B sales, or the desire to pivot into this sector.
Experience in converting prospects/quotes to profitable new business or developing existing customers to maximise organic revenue growth.
The ability to utilise interpersonal and sales skills at multiple levels to maximise sales outcomes.
Proven commercial acumen and ability to negotiate term & positive billed revenue.
The ability to manage time and competing priorities effectively.
Excellent written, verbal & presentation skills including negotiation and conflict management and relationship building skills.
Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills
Current Australian driver’s licence
Proven business to business sales experience; confident sales, account management and business development skills
Demonstrated ability to think innovatively to develop targeted sales and marketing strategies.
Strong presentation and proposal/tender development skills
