PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT - SALES SPECIALIST

East Melbourne | $65000 - $75000 per annum, Excellent Commission

A unique opportunity exists to join a reputable brand that is passionate about achieving excellence in ensuring the customers desire to own their own home is made a reality.
In this role you will initiate and manage inquiries received from a range of sources to maximise the conversion to quality sales. The role also has a large emphasis on Marketing & Customer Service.
Reporting into your Area Manager, they will provide you with their expert knowledge and skills. The working week will consist of five out of seven days in each week and standard business hours are 8.30am -5.00pm. The role includes but is not limited to the following tasks:

  • Develop customer relationships and qualify the customer for a deposit.

  • Maximise the conversion of inquiries to deposit and unconditional contracts.

  • Achieve weekly and monthly targets for leads, deposits and contracts signed.

  • Attend and contribute to weekly workflow meetings, report progress against targets, customer follow-up/appointments, leads, expected sales, and maintain up-to-date files.

  • Ensure that all display presentation standards are maintained appropriately and that all marketing collateral within display is current.

  • Develop an understanding of building terminology and company standards regarding designs, products, local council requirement, planning requirements, marketing and promotions and pricing.

To be successful in this role you will offer:

  • A professional / business appearance is always required.

  • Ability to maintain and manage leads, and customer information using inhouse technologies.

  • Proven successful sales record in building industry for over 5 years.

  • Proven ability to manage customer expectations through a complex buying process.

  • Volume Housing experience preferred.

  • Experience in working in a collaborative and/or team environment.

  • Well-developed computer technology skills applicable to a sales environment.
