Our client is an ASX 100 iconic market leader, and today have an exciting opportunity for a talented Infrastructure Project Manager to join their busy Engineering Team and support the maintenance and upgrading of major asset infrastructure projects on behalf of their iconic customer. This is an exciting opportunity to manage the end to end delivery of waste management environmental solutions projects, playing a critical role in this Resource Recovery Innovation Alliance Team.

Key responsibilities will include

  • Leading project teams in the maintenance and upgrading of council waste management asset infrastructure, including one remediation project (project portfolio value of up to $10m)  

  • Managing engineering and technical teams for the execution of business-critical projects, leveraging off your  understanding of design and construction of waste management infrastructure to support the projects success

  • Forecasting and tracking of project expenditures

  • Reviewing and utilising of engineering drawings for project development

  • Leading projects and people in line with their Leadership Model, exemplifying our values-based high-performance culture

  • Leveraging their organisational Toolkit to increase sustainability alignment and promote brand awareness and equity to all groups including employees, customers, community and shareholders

  • Managing and driving effective and efficient communication between project teams, contractors and suppliers and other external stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are met

  • Managing asset project handover including operational and environmental compliance for the assets with all regulatory and best practice requirements, pollution abatement notices, Council notices etc

  • Establishing, monitoring and reviewing project life cycles to ensure the delivery of project on time and budget
