With full accountability for the operational performance of the business (people, fleet, equipment, P&L, stakeholder engagement and customer experience) this is a fantastic career opportunity.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead, coach and mentor a logistics and industrial contract services operation

  • Operational Leadership of around 80 permanent staff and 30 contractors

  • Health, Safety, QA & Environmental Compliance

  • Stakeholder engagement and management (including being the escalation point for customer concerns)

  • Full P&L accountability ($24m Revenue)

  • Efficient and effective Fleet and Equipment Maintenance & Management (large asset base of heavy vehicles, tools and machinery)

  • Project and Change Management

  • Optimisation of Asset/Resource utilisation

  • Customer facing for major clients and contracts, getting on-site regularly to ensure safety compliance and efficient asset utilisation, as well as managing accountability and identifying and remedying any gaps

  • Collaboration with other Branch Managers to share equipment and people as required to ensure client contract obligations are met

  • Work in close collaboration with the Sales Unit Manager to support strategic & tactical sales planning, programs and major bids
