An opportunity now exists for a Commercial Finance Manager (CFM) to assist the Executive General Manager, Enterprise Services in delivering on a range of new strategic initiatives across multiple business streams. Leading through influence, supporting business units GMs, and liaising with different commercial finance teams, this newly created role is a combination of commercial and financial management, responsible for providing commercial partnership insight and business performance reporting to drive competitive advantage and business growth in alignment with business plans, profit targets and strategic objectives.

Reporting to the Group CFO and matrix reporting to the EGM, this is a business critical role, with high exposure and significant potential for career growth within a large complex organisation.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Provide commercial business partner support for various GM’s, commercial, finance and operational teams to drive delivery of the implementation of strategic initiatives within their business units

  • Facilitate business case discussions with key stakeholders across the organisation

  • Develop and maintain a mechanism for quantifying, tracking and reporting of program wide benefits

  • Manage the creation, design, and standardisation of weekly and monthly business performance dashboards and trend analysis to inform decision making and to meet reporting requirements

  • Drive monthly operational reviews, ensuring stakeholders are prepared, understand the status of their program initiatives, and deliverables are being met

  • Ensure governance processes are monitored and managed to comply with internal finance policies

  • Provide analytics/insights to enable identification/management of key market/operational trends

  • Provide insights into customer and market segment profitability
