The Management Accountant will assist the Commercial Business Partner to provide commercial support to the Commercial Finance Manager, Regional Management and Branch Management. The Management Accountant will support the Commercial Business Partner to produce timely and accurate reporting to Branch and Regional Management, as well as commercial insights around budgeting, forecasting and analysis.
Key responsibilities will include:
Provide financial modelling and analysis to support the Operating Unit(s) as required;
Manage timely and accurate collation of Business and Operating Unit financial and accounting information and preparation of required financial reports, complying with internal and external controls;
Analyse and review cost analysis covering allocation, cost benefit, volume, profit, client profitability and life cycle analysis to improve quality of earnings;
Work with the Commercial Business Partner on key commercial cost levers such as labour productivity, asset utilisation/replacement and repair/maintenance performance;
Provide financial modelling and analysis supporting regional performance;
Undertake transactional elements and report preparation to ensure the Operating Unit meets their monthly and annual operational performance targets;
Act in line with the leadership model, actively contributing to creating a high-performance, values-based company culture;
Deliver the highest standard in professional conduct, personal presentation and company image;
Contribute to maintaining a respectful workplace for all employees;
Support the Commercial Business Partner in providing commercial insights and analytics to Regional Management;
Partner with the Commercial Business Partner, Branch Managers and Regional Managers to prepare forecasts & budgets incorporating appropriate challenge and analysis.
