The FP&A Analyst is responsible for understanding and articulating performance at all levels across the business, utilising metrics, financials and generating insightful commentary. This role will work with business unit stakeholders and will be required to have a good awareness of internal and external drivers and understanding of the business.
Key responsibilities will include:
Support the management reporting process including the Board, ExCom, Business Unit and Investor relation reporting;
Provide financial and commercial support to the wider business as well as the Sales and Pricing team;
Review and report capital requirements as well as maintain fixed assets process and integrity for the business units;
Produce and deliver on-time all Business Unit performance reporting requirements including detailed variance analysis and relevant commentary;
Monitor and report on the accuracy of previous forecasts and budgets, including variance commentary;
Review business performance of forecast plans and suggest improvements or opportunities;
Continue to develop and expand current reporting (including dashboard development, trend reporting) which incorporate a focus on key activity drivers and continuous business improvement and operational performance (financial and non-financial) measures;
Act in line with the leadership model, actively contributing to creating a high-performance, values-based company culture;
Deliver the highest standard in professional conduct, personal presentation and company image;
Contribute to maintaining a respectful workplace for all employees;
Act as a business partner by providing relevant analysis, insight and commentary supporting business interpretation of routine management reports.
