This is an exciting opportunity to demonstrate your skills in a high-volume payroll role and be an integral part of a national brand.  Reporting directly to the Payroll Manager, the position is fast-paced and responsible for the end-to-end activities of a large payroll function. These are full time roles and commence immediately.

Key responsibilities will include: 

  • Interpretation of multiple awards, EBA’s and other industrial legislation

  • Operate as the go to person for the calculation or interpretation of more complex queries from executives across the organisation

  • Processing of fortnightly and monthly payroll and reports to Senior Management

  • Management of internal and external payroll payments and reconciliation of clearing accounts

  • Compile calculations for terminations, long service leave, redundancies and annual leave

  • Generate periodic reports for management across the organisastion

  • Preparation and reconciliation of General Ledger data to ensure accurate reporting of all payroll transactions into finance systems and third parties

  • Complete monthly payment for Superannuation and other payroll liabilities

  • Ensure compliance with payroll related Award and Enterprise Agreement legislative and statutory requirements

  • Continually review and recommend processes to increase efficiencies

  • Provide assistance when required to other Payroll Officers within the team

  • Compiling monthly reports for the payroll team and line managers
