The organisation is now seeking to appoint an inspirational and talented Executive/Commercial Business Partner (CBP) to provide exceptional commercial advice, guidance and direction to best support this NSW regions Solid Waste Services business. Leading through influence, this role is also a combination of commercial and financial management.
Key responsibilities will include:
Maintain activities within functional departmental budget;
Analyse and review cost analysis covering allocation, cost benefit, volume, profit, client profitability and life cycle analysis to improve quality of earnings;
Work with Regional management on key commercial cost levers such as labour productivity, asset utilisation/replacement and repair/maintenance performance;
Provide financial modelling and analysis supporting regional performance;
Analyse trends and variances including rate and volume analyses to support the delivery of top line growth along with the preparation of pricing models as required;
Act in line with the Leadership Model actively contributing to creating a high-performance, values-based company culture;
Deliver the highest standard in professional conduct, personal presentation and company image;
Contribute to maintaining a respectful workplace for all employees;
Provide commercial insight to primary Regional Management, ensuring appropriate challenge & analysis to support business growth along with commercial governance/insight and analysis for all SBU activities;
Provide timely and accurate guidance to the General Accounting team to ensure month end activities relating to their respective Regions are reflected in the reported results;
Partner with primary Regional teams to prepare Regional plans and budgets in alignment with management guidelines and timetables, incorporating appropriate challenge and analysis;
Partner with the Commercial Finance Manager and Regional Managers to improve price yield across the Strategic Business Unit.
