The organisation is now seeking to appoint a General Manager to lead a team of Sales, Reception, Project Engineering, Project Management, Logistics and Manufacturing in a hands-on and customer-facing environment, with time spent focused on both operations and business development.
Key responsibilities will include:
Managing the business operations, including P&L and budget delivery;
40% of time customer facing in a relationship building/sales capacity with a national customer base including indoor stadiums, schools, builders etc;
Pipeline development and management, including sales planning;
Development and implementation of business growth strategy;
Quality and Safety;
Operating with a high level of integrity and trust;
Leading a team including administration, quality, safety, sales, manufacturing, engineering, project management, and logistics;
In longer term will be responsible for establishing a succession plan, and process improvement, including reviewing the role specifications to ensure the team are working to their strengths etc.
