People and Performance Business Partner - 3 days per week - Remote role - Brisbane or Sydney based

Seeking an energetic and experienced People and Performance Business Partner ideally with some RTO experience to support the GM's of 3 business units.

Our client is an Australian Leading RTO and with campuses in Brisbane, Sydney and Perth and they bring to market a specialist Trade-Training portfolio.
This portfolio consists of three organisations that are recognised training Specialists to the Building and Construction Industry, offering quality Apprenticeships and RPL, to both national and international markets. 

They are looking for an ambitious, motivated and organised People and Performance Business Parter to undertake a variety of HR, recruitment, administrative and onboarding activities.

About the role:

  • Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be recruiting suitable candidates with a maximum of 8 vacancies at any one time across the 3 business units

  • You will be supporting the 3 business units, collaborating with the General Managers, to assist in talent management, policy, procedures, inductions and onboarding, HR initiatives, performance and remuneration reviews, and continuing to help shape and drive the culture and strategic objectives

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Recruit suitable talent, maximum of 8 vacancies across the 3 business units

  • Providing administrative support to employees and the Operations Manager

  • Maintaining employee records and files

  • Processing documents and reports related to HR functions

  • Assisting with recruitment and payroll processes

  • Liaise with other departments or functions (payroll, benefits etc.)

  • Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events etc. and maintain the team’s agenda

  • Coordinate training sessions and seminars

  • Perform orientations, onboarding etc

  • Responding to internal and external HR inquiries and requests

  • Administering employee benefits and resolving issues

  • Work autonomously and efficiently to ensure the end-to-end running of HR projects

  • Produce and submit reports on general HR activity
