SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

Our client is an Australian & NZ highly awarded and market leader in the sustainable provision of water infrastructure, directly supporting water authorities and organisations who own water infrastructure, along with ‘creating the future of water for generations to come’. Their culture is inclusive and highly engaging, and they are all very proud of their positioning as a leading provider of trenchless pipeline solutions, specialising in the Stormwater, Water, Wastewater and Culvert sectors. 
 
As a consequence of growth, they are seeking to appoint another 2 talented Senior Project Managers – Construction, who can leverage off their Civil Engineering and Project Management expertise (ideally directly related to Water / Wastewater/pipes) to each lead the successful delivery of a small portfolio (typically up to 3 or 4 crews concurrently) of low and high risk water focused projects, ranging from network repair projects @ $50,000 each to larger pipeline projects demanding $3 million+.   
  
Reporting to the Operations Executive, you will enjoy full accountability/responsibility for the end-to-end management of projects – that’s from client management through to project scoping, project planning, scheduling and managing the critical path, right through to project delivery. 

Key areas of responsibility include: 

• Project management of water infrastructure or civil construction infrastructure 

• Experience with gated / milestone projects  

• Experience in supporting the preparation of tender submissions as required  

• Delivery of project KPI’s and the continuous improvement of operations management   

• Driving effective and efficient communication between project teams, and various internal and external stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are met  

• Manage asset project handovers including operational and environmental compliance for the assets with all regulatory and best practise requirements 

• Establish, monitor and review project life cycles to ensure the quality delivery of each project on time and budget
